Good read, I wish my school offered a class on subjects like this. Things like human study, philosophy and things similar.

che blanc, Have you seen the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know?" ? It was on Google video, not sure if it still is or not. But if you have an hour or so to kill I recomend it.

thnks for the article, it was fun to read. I don't usually enjoy stuff like this, but this is definitely an exception.

"What The Bleep Do We Know?" isn't quantum physics FYI. Crazy theory with some quantum physics thrown in there to make it look somewhat legit (which it isn't).

And yes, "What The Bleep Do We Know?" is a theory with quantum physics used to help explain it. I wouldn't call it crazy or say quantum physics was thrown in their to give it some kind of legitamacy tho.

LKNKampus, What!?!? Trying to be deep and good effects? C'mon bro, you can't accept that there's people who enjoy learning and thinking about this stuff that still live full lives? I live a way better life, a much fuller life because I like to learn everything I can.

And I'm not idly sitting by as life passes, I'm living it to the fullest every day. I obviously don't have to prove anything to you, because 1) your negative vibes turn me off from caring what you have to say and 2) because I'll probably never convince you otherwise.

This is where I dwell, everyone should read this and they will be a better person by remaining concious and realizing who they are and what there purpose lies.

I like the part where the seed is sowed and contrary to existance it has a germ of an idea..........then it grows to confirm or deny this idea.

There seems a lot more to add here what so in causes the choice. Does anybody want to add. I guess circumstances, family, and access to water/boat/wakeskate are some of the influeces.

Then there is the Indian philosophy...has anybody read Osho....and the story of Rinzai and his master.........?

Here's something from an exam essay I wrote in English class this year in favor of the collective conscious idea.

3: We have a conscious awareness

To look at this backwards (from arguing in favor of a Higher Power), we are an accumulation of lots of little bits that has developed ways of observing and reifying our environment. It would follow that we are also lots of little bits that make up a more complete, Higher Conscious Awareness.
As I said though, this view is backwards. Instead we are focal points within the Higher Awareness, capturing images in a subjective fashion, relative purely to the experience of that focus, because we have life and these are the conditions we need to live in.

Like ice crystals floating in a lake, they form and dissolve within the lake, come from and return to the lake, but apart from the perceived difference, are never separate from the lake and never move from being a part of the lake.

There is a Higher Power, and we are Its experience, but we are never any different from It, we are never separate from It and we never move from being It.
