so I got to wonder, is this going to be a good board?
http://www.hyperlite.com/product?PID=9164#prod_title
The graphics are SICK, but I must admit that I hate hyperlite boards. They just feel like wakeboards with the nose and tail cut down. This board says that it is a "dual board" but when I look at the up close, it looks like there are bolts connected directly to the board at the end of the nose and tail. I assume there is not flex involved or fulcrum. Must just be high kick tails. Anyone who has ridden this board, please post. A side-shot would be sweet... _________________ forever shreddin' |

| I saw one at surf expo and they look like a really interesting design. The concave and kicktails are really exaggerated but I definately want to try it. Demo it first if you can but it seems like a new and different shape that may have possibilities. |

| LiquidForce71 what does him riding it well have to do with anything. Just because he kills it on it doesn't mean the next guy is going to. Plus Byerly could kill it on any skate. So if I ever see him killing it on a cwb lucky I will be make sure to buy one. |

| Byerly is the PT Barnum of the wake world. He could sculpt all his gear out of solid rock this upcoming season and people would still scramble for their credit cards. I tip my hat to him. |

| i have the 2005 byerly 107. i like the pop on it, but its hard to throw any tricks on it and its really bulky, so im considering getting a different one. you're right about it feeling like a wakeboard, but thats how i learned to wakeskate so it feels normal to me. |

| So i've been calling shops trying to figure out when they will be getting these in and keep being told sometime around Christmas. I finally gave up calling shops and went to the source and called Hyperlite...they said they "won't ship till at least January 2007" . Apparently they have been having production issues something about attaching the bottom sheet to the board. |

| well im thinking that this board is going to be pretty cool considering, george daniels left GB to ride it, and reed hansen is now ridding it. So definately two killer riders making the switch. I saw george riding it at o dub and it has a crazy look to it. LOts of pop..... |

definitly not "enough said",
You guys like those graphics? personaly im not a fan of them, but to each his own. Im sure this board with attract many riders, because of byerly, being the Godfather of the sport. Im sure alot of people will either love it or hate it, probly most will hate it... much like alot of hyperlite boards. But im not saying anything till i get to ride it. I think it looks a bit awkward, but might acctully turn out to be a revolutionary deck. |

| -=AlexXx=-, it does look awkward for sure. but i was there with skatefilly watching a few people throw down on the board. but i really think everyone should just stop worrying about what byerly can throw cause he could do it on any board. you just have to ride them and figured out what you like. |

I REALLY hope everyone disregards this post. EVERYONE has an "off day." On top of that, there is a million different reasons why someone might fall on every trick, so to even THINK about pointing the finger at Byerly's own new shape is friggin ridiculous. I realize that you might not have meant it to come off like this, but why post this crap in a thread about Byerly's deck? It makes it sound like you're trying to indirectly say that Byerlys decks sucks, and that even he cant land anything on it. lame. I need another margarita. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground
