Who here got themselves a zune? Its awesome because anytime someone asks what wakeskating is I no longer have to try to explain what it is and how its possible to "stay on the board", I just show them a lil vid Laughing

Yea i know the ipod has had videos on it, but the screen is nothing compared to on the zune Crazy Eyes

. I havent had an ipod before because i was waiting for someone else to come out with another player. Everyone has an ipod, not that thats the only reason i got the zune, i like the zune better anyway.

i pods pwn zunes any day of the week. Bigger screen is the only advantage and there is no doubt that the next gen i pods will have bigger screens. Plus the zune is clunky as hell. Ipods are supple and sleek.

Im just waiting for the next set of ipod videos that have a full screen on the front getting rid of the click wheel so the screen can be the whole front of the player. Zune is too bulky.

Hehe I'm still rocking the oldschool iPod...you know...the one that just plays music and has 4 buttons and a scroll wheel instead of a click wheel. Yeah that shits tight.

there are alot of better features that they have....you can even share song between zunes.

And other people have to have a Zune for that to work, so for the most part your SOL...

The Ipod may not have the most features, but Itunes is by far the best online store... and the interface on Itunes and the Ipod are unmatched. Apple has their shizzle together, Microsoft is not going to take over the market with this first Zune...

Don't get me wrong though, it's still not a bad player, but the people who are anti Ipod and getting it and saying how bad the Ipod sucks, grow up...They are both good players with their own features... (Bigger screen and song sharing and more features versus Slick interface, longer battery life, more accessories, and better music store)

Yea, ipods are still good players, its not like the zune just beats them outright no-contest type of thing. Why are people saying the ipod music store is way better though. The zune music stor has every music that you can think of and will also be adding videos just like itunes very soon. Im pretty sure Ms didnt pull out all the stops on thiss first zune. Een the one they came out with can be upgraded a lot just over the internet ie wireless syncing, games, video sharing ect.

also, the zune is going to start getting more accesories and stuff, ipod just has plain to many accessories with to many companies trying to get in on t. These come wih time anyway. The zune is also not that clunky at all, it is thiker than the ipod yes, but it is thinner than anyother player on the market besides the ipod. The little extra thickness over the ipod has not hindered my expirience with it at all.

as far as the 3 day rule goes, that will get hacked soon anyway so its all good. Laughing

senorbueno, you honestly think that Itunes is the best music store, they barely have 1 million songs. If you want to talk about a big music library plus great features, visit yahoo music. Another thing, Ipods are way overrated. I personally have a Sony Mp3 player, it is a 20 GB that holds 13,000 songs, and it has over 40 hours of battery life. Apple doubles the size of their songs, not cool. All in all, there are a lot better companies than apple, they just happen to be easy to use and popular.

deltarider500, yeah I had a Sony MP3 player, and a Creative, and each one of those always gave me problems. Getting them to work and auto update when plugged into the computer was such a pain. So at the time to upgrade, the Ipod was the best option for me, I already had Itunes installed, so I just plugged it in and it was recognized and automatically. I have to say though, the new Sony's look super slick, which model is yours?...

Oh and I don't think you know what you are talking about, as of right now, Itunes has the largest selection of all online music stores (1.5 million or so). Yahoo's subscription service just allows you to stream, unless you have a certain type of player and my old mp3 players aren't supported. Itunes orgranization features of music are great... all my old mp3s that were all jumbled, Itunes was able to place them into their own folders by album, artist, etc. on my harddrive, so even when I'm not using Itunes, it is still organized... there are more features... but I don't use it as my primary player, just for my Ipod and organizational purposes.

Oh I will say this, the Ipod Headphones are terrible, so I have to fork over some money every 6 months or so and got some nice Sony ones, they don't last too long, but the soud quality is unmatched for the price.

I have a Creative Nano Plus or something like that, it has 1g and seriously who could fill up all that space with Music? Yeah the video things are tight, i would love one, but for mp3 purposes, this thing gets the job done great. I can even use iTunes. I just open the mp3 player in Windows explorer, and click and drag my songs from iTunes into it, it's so simple. Anyways those Zunes things look awesome! I would take one over an iPod any day, i have broken more than one of those things so i'm just gonna give up on that haha. Definately sounds like something for me though. I need something portable to show my films on. Very Happy
