third eye blind- self titled... my first cd ever and the foundation of my music
deftones- around the fur...my second cd ever and the rest of the foundation
the juliana theory- love... quite possibly one of the most well produced, most under appreciated albums i have ever heard. every time i listen i fall more, well, in love with it.
jack johnson- brushfire fairytales... such a classic. found out about jack at the end of 6th grade circa '98 through bluetorch. now thats oldschool.
glassJAw- everything you ever wanted to know about silence... my introduction to hardcore/music that none of the popular kids in middle school liked.

I like this thread so I'm gonna bring it back.
In no particular order:
Our Lady Peace - Clumsy
36 Crazyfists - A Snow Capped Romance (and later The Suffer Tree EP)
Wyclef Jean - The Carnival
Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory
Saul Williams - Self titled
I'm gonna have to do 5 more
Rise Against - The Unraveling
The Beach Boys - Endless Summer (I was raised in Cali, its a given)
Rehab - Southern Discomfort
Chiodos - All's Well That Ends Well
Silverchair - Frogstomp
Also 2 singles that changed me:
Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderfull World (one of my dad's favorite songs, I got the chorus tattooed down my side after he died)
Our Lady Peace - live cover of Imagine by John Lennon (a week after 9-11 my dad and I were watching a tribute concert and John Lennon played this song and my dad told me about how much he liked it for its meaning. Then he died a couple weeks later and I was sifting through Our Lady Peace songs, since they are my favorite band, and found the cover. Pretty cool)
So there you have it. I'm really into music in case you couldn't tell.
