I got some emerica tosh's last night on actionvillage.com for wakeskating. They had some mesh on them, and for 25 bux I had to jump on that. Anyone else got these shoes and skated in them? I would have gotten some lakai cordoba or some dvs's but they didn't have them in my size (14 Sad) So yea what shoes do you guys skate in?

Byerly II's...brown. Awesome shoes and nearly indestructable.

I also use a pair of original white Byerlys.

The OG kampus ks-1's I didn't like, I bet their latest line is much better. The Byerly I's were stiff I didn't like them either. DVS don't last very long but they are the dirtiest. The Byerly II's are much better, I like the square soles and the new material they used. They last a lot longer than DVS, although I feel more when I wear the DVS. It sounds like you scored a great pair of shoes though, you're stoked. Any body skate in chucks? It rules!

I just use dvs skate shoes--non wakeskate specific models. For this summer I was using some paint pened profits that I loved, and for my last few sets this year I wore my novas. With the help of a fan, they dried faster than any other shoe I've used.

i also used to rock the dills. ultimately, i like the beefier (or whatever) feeling of a skate shoe.

I have a pair of DVS Milans & a pair of Rowley XLIIIs and they dry out about the same and like the feel of the Rowleys better.

lake weir ocala FL, are they the mesh dresdens? those are the shoes people usually refer to as not lasting long. i had a pair of milans that lasted about a year, i loved those shoes.
