|
|
I designed and built this winch to last a life time. The frame is all steel round tubing meant to resemble a ski tower, it has a brand new 8hp Briggs and Stratton motor, Centipical clutch, it is ready to accept a torqu.a.verter, however I coudnt find one in tampa to fit. the motor mount is adjustable so you can tighten the chain as it stretches. the gearing is just right for max torque and speed. I do have other gears for slower or faster pulls. Its able to hook into the reciever hitch. Now the bad.....It needs to be sanded and painted. I used bare steel for the frame and it shows. The throttle handle is a little ghetto, not to hard to make a nice one though, and the spool works fine however the aluminum skin crushed in like a coke can, but the supports under it are way ok. It has a roller farlead so your rope doesnt snag...there is no rope. I repeat NO rope.
Now the wife wants me to get rid of it, I built it as if I were going to keep it for life. I cannot give a warrany obviously but I am letting it go for what I paid for it. 1000.00$ And it is yours.

This winch literally only has 35 pulls on it. As soon as I got done building and testing it, I hit Financial dificulties, hence the sale. I will even help rebuild the spool if you live here in tampa and want it.

| Ok cool.... Yes the winch works and it works well. Theres is absolutley nothing wrong with it cept cosmetics. Thank you Leprechan for linking the pics I really appreciate it, I just dont have the energy to figure out how to link so thank you......The link is right above here. I would consider lay a way twgapk if the down payment was worth it. I know it looks rough but really all it needs is light sanding and primer and paint. The raw steel makes it out to be worse than it is. All the welds are solid and have been ground down. And in parts and beer and electricity for building this I spent over 900$ It it doesnt have more than 35 pulls on it just to get it dialed in. BUT if this really isnt worth it then Ill finish it myself and throw it on Ebay if you guys think thats smarter. Dont bash me here, I still wakeboard and all of my friends wakeskate. I was starting to get into it then I bought a boat......hence me selling it. |

| nobody is bashing you but when you could get a professional made COMPLETE winch for barely much more its going to be hard to sell a custom incomplete winch for a grand based off beer funds.. if you figure someone has to pay money to paint it.. buy rope..fix the throttle..add some more beer funds.. might as well go new.. i saw used pulldozer go for a grand on winchskating soo... just to give you an idea.. |

lake tarpon, a rope is $100, paint is $20 at most, new throttle $10. This is alot cheaper to buy this winch and save yourself a grand when you could pay a grand more and it is going to do the EXACT same thing, it just up too how much your willing to pay.
This is a good deal, if your wanting a winch and can't make one or don't have the money to buy a grinch(or different one) you should buy this. _________________ ~ www.integrity-wake.com ~ www.iwinchglobal.com ~ |

| price.dan, i guess.. i just think it would sell better if it was complete.. it makes it look like the builder didnt take his time on it.. plus a majority of the people on winchskating built theirs for under 700.... wasnt trying to be an ass or anythng, good luck on the sale.. |
