|
|
Well if you all remember me and some friends got together and built a fairly nice pool gap that had to be torn down before we could even hit it due to the kids parents disaproval. Well I guess the parents went out of town this weekend so i got a phone call from my friend saying we were gonna build the pool this weekend and tear it down tonight before the parents returned home. We built the pool and rail all day friday and then sessioned it the remainder of the weekend. I thought it was completely idiotic but i could let something like this go on without me. Heres some pics and vid from the foolishness that went on this weekend.

How long was the pool and did you feel like it was long enough??
We've been wanting to build one like that with some buddies but are not really sure we have enough room where we want to do it lol

Nekkie, the pool works out great and is about 45 ft long and is more than enough room to ride off and set up. If your dock is a little short just make sure you have a nice starting area to slide off of to get some speed off of.
TheLeprechaun, we have all the wood just sitting on the side of the kids house so expect a phone call tomorrow.

That looks so much fun.... how high do you have to ollie to hit the rail?
I once built a pool but only me and an other crazy guy who can't ollie properly hit it. Al the other skaters found the 1 foot + ollie way too high. Needles to say, the crazy rider smashed himself.

BRAZIL-CONCAVEwakeskates, the ollie was very minimal and you didnt really have to think of it at all. I actually would have liked it higher but some of the kids wakeboarding didnt feel comfortable with that.
FingersMcGee, yes thats a jon boat and it works perfect for a starting dock or rail or building platform. I <3 jon boats
