| I like the channels on the bottom. Other than that, seems to resemble an old Cassette 4 trac.

To me it doesn't look like either. The shape looks slightly different. Wider on the nose and tail and a little bit more rounded off. Plus the concave looks a little bit different, however i'm not sure why. Not to mention the channels.
But i'm probably just trying too hard, and it's just like every other wood concave.

| The guys from New are really cool. It's interesting because they can make each board to the rider's preference. They have a few basic sizes that are their standard shapes, but they can give different concave, channels or no, weight, everything can be adjusted to get yoruself a custom made board.

| Doesn't look like an oak to me either, almost LF kicktails.. maybe less concave.. plus channels... interesting. haha.

It looks like it's made of mahogany. Must just be stained that color.
