I like the channels on the bottom. Other than that, seems to resemble an old Cassette 4 trac.

ridehatzic, by cassette 4 trac do you mean the 4 trac specifically or every other wood concave on the market.

To me it doesn't look like either. The shape looks slightly different. Wider on the nose and tail and a little bit more rounded off. Plus the concave looks a little bit different, however i'm not sure why. Not to mention the channels.

But i'm probably just trying too hard, and it's just like every other wood concave. Very Happy

The guys from New are really cool. It's interesting because they can make each board to the rider's preference. They have a few basic sizes that are their standard shapes, but they can give different concave, channels or no, weight, everything can be adjusted to get yoruself a custom made board.

Doesn't look like an oak to me either, almost LF kicktails.. maybe less concave.. plus channels... interesting. haha.

It looks like it's made of mahogany. Must just be stained that color.
