god dammit. Ok I got my first wake skate today, I ordered it on saturday from evogear.com It was a 42 lf controle for 120, I got it instead of a oak because im low on money and will be for a while, and it was a pretty good deal. Well chickity china the chinese chicken. I got it today and the paint is peeling off, and when you look at the bottom of the board in the sun glare theres so many things wrong with it. Mainly its the paint, some spots are thicker then others, its cracking and peeling. You would think evogear would check for this shizzle. Its a good thing im not gonna be going skating anymore this season or else id be really pissed. Any of you guys ordered from evogear? O yea they are calling lf and they will call me next week to tell me what to do...

i bought some cassette flat decks from them. they're good people, from my experience.

i hear the board was good, and im not really sayin evo gear sucks, im sayin why didn't ya see this if it was there. It could have been a small crack and started in shipping. Its peeling all over now, starting in small places. It kinda seems like they didn't put on the outer layer or somthing, its like paint then wood/grey stuff. I called em they said they would call lf and they will replace it.

i bought a few boards from them. all but one showed up. i spent about a month trying to get a refund or soemthing on the board i never recieved. finally someone from their company read one of my emails and took care of the problem. he apologised, sent me a full refund and also sent me a free vest. nice people. I'm sure they will make whatever went wrong right for you.

Its just paint, my impulse started peeling after the first ride..

yeah if its just the paint then no big deal its gonna come off when you hit rails. the problem is if the wood splits after you ride. anyways evogear fixed my problems so im sure they will for you too.

provin1327, im pretty sure its not evogears error. from what i've heard/seen lf makes pretty crappy decks.

He's saying its not evo gears fault that it's peeling. But it IS evogear's fault for sending him a skate in that condition.

i sent mine back and they say they are sending me an o7 as replacement. if they will do it for you to than id send it back now. if they wont you might as well just ride it till it falls apart.
