Our College Ski CLub is tryin to get donations for a boat, and I was wondering if you think any wakeboard/wakeskate companies, sites etc. would donate. I doubt any smaller ones would, but I was just thinking of everything I can right now. Im sure their logo would go on the team sign that goes everywhere, then they would prolly be on the website, and probably would put a big sticker on the boat Im thinkin.

Heres what Im thinking right now, these are just ideas, some of these places dont have the funds Im sure. I would put wakeboarder.com and wakeskating.com down, but I doubt Dave is rolling in enough loot to be donatin for a boat. I would hope his own boat would come first. Also some of these places I think are so big, they could careless about advertising with something this small.

Buywake
Hyperlite
Cassette
Straightline
Liquid Force
Wakeside
WakeWorld
DVS
Sea Doo
WWSA

Got tons more, just cant think of em right now. Does anyone think there could be a realistic chance of getting any of these places or not? Would like some opinions before i try this.

I would suggest asking alumni and businesses around the university before the companies you listed that are in the wake industry. I think you would have a better chance with people that are more in touch with your school, unless of course the ski team is winning national championships every year.

Alright thanks Dave, now that I think of it more, unless we actually had a specific wakeskate team , most of these companies wouldnt help im sure.

yeah i think youd have to be winning a bunch of stuff to get the recognition, just like regular sponsors in a sense
