Just another side note, Thomas is the only person besides Byerly to land a fat chance (at least on film, I'm pretty sure it's only those two who have ever done it).

Thomas was mean.

Thomas was a sick boarder back then. I wonder when was the last time he straped on a board (I think Staker had some mention of him and Thomas doing a raley contest a while back)
electricsnow, I've never seen the turntable deck (or atleast don't remember it) don't by chance have a pic?

It's the same year as that yellow one...

Here is a link to it...was called the FullTilt 1200...a mammoth board at 147...same as the circuit ( the yellow one in this thread) but i think it was honeycomb. The 1200 was the pro model.

Fat Chance (Invented by Byerly, before the slim chance) SWITCH hs front flip with FS 3
Slim Chance - hs front flip with FS 3

hs front flip with bs 3 has never been done I don't think, but I haven't seen any of the brand new vids.

ts front flip with bs 3 (invented by Weddington) is called a Flavor Flip, VERY seldomly landed.

Jeremy, I got For What It's Worth a while back, along with a bunch of other older vids that I've wanted. When I watched Thomas pull that Fat Chance I was thinking, "well, Coe was right".

I taped one of the Big Air challenges years back and it shows Murray attempting a switch hs front with a bs 3. Didn't land it, but I'll bet he's done it. It's just like doing a crow mobe 5 but starting off switch heelside. Know what I mean?

I think that was the year Murray was wearing knee socks and riding the VW bug board.

And if I recall correctly, Thomas was there attempting hs fs slob 7s on his Fulltilt. Sporting crack as usual.

Yeah, alliance said that shaun murray invented the frontflip with a backside 3 (or it might have been switch, I don't remember that part). Take that for what it's worth...

Also, unless you count those old expression session...sessions on tour, thomas was the first to land a fat chance in a comp in 1997...otherwise it was scott (in the expression sesh, 96).

Typo:scbrips, I too have that comp on tape...and I could be wrong, but thomas might have been on a mutiny already, but whatever...

che blanc, Nope the B.A.F.F. was a compression molded board from 1996. My friend had one, the thing was huge!!!!!!

Slim Chance- Hs front with fs 3
Fat Chance- Switch slim chance
Hs front backside 3- done switch by murray.
