|
|
Which do you guys prefer. Me and Jesse were talking about it, disucssing differences and such. I prefer rounded rails. Why do you guys that ride skates with squared rails like them?
I seem to always catch the edge on my lip tricks on squared railed skates. Even on the Integrity when I did round the rails it still wasn't enough for my liking. |

I belive its like a surfboard... you gain on something and loose on an other... like a bigger board you gain floatation and loose agility. It's about getin' the balance of both variables.
Or a car... If you lower the suspension it will turn better, but will brake worst.
As far as rails on a wakeskate, I belive more squared rails gove more carving and pop, while rounded rails are more forgiven and mellow... its up finding your best point.
I have 2 friends here that have integ's. One off'em have the rais as they come and the other on is rounded. I like'em both but for pwc i'd rather the rouded one and for boat the square.
Bottom line, there's no better or worst, its about witch suits your style most. _________________ CONCAVE co.

| With different decks I find that I prefer different speeds, I know alot relies on weight but I'm sure the rails also are a factor. That's just how I adjust but I never really skate squared rails, when I do I enjoy about 11mph |

| on my integ, i rounded the rails. you gotta really sand down the durasurf to accomplish the round rail. it sits deep in the water, but it's still super poppy. if theres even a little bit of a corner where the durasurf meets the black stuff, it will ride real slippy. |
