i have a new HL gate 114 and i am 5'4''.......is the board too big for me or would it be fine

it seems to be fine for me, but thats just me

That's just... you? Dude, YOUR opinion is the most important opinion when it comes to choose a board.

Have you tried The Gate yet? If so, you've just answered you own question.

Anyway, it's all about personal preferences; so try to demo as many boards as you can.

maybe a little big, but it is prefrence, but good for you to do wake to wake stuff...

board_and_skate, the Gate is 114 cm but it's supposed to feel way shorter on the water because of its tips' design.
