WakeWarrior, you will probably want to get a flat deck since your a beginner... try a LF or cassette flat deck or even hyperlite.... the liquid force 41 foam flat and 42 grip are nice skates and last very long... havn't tryed a cassette but LF and cassette skates are very closely alike.... a hy scape is a good beginner board but they dont last very long with lots of use!!!

eh...you'll probably get addicted to wakeskating like i did....don't waste your bling on a flat, just go and get an older version of the cassette 3ds they're cheap now and almost as good as the new concaves, they ride nicer then flats.

yeah but getting an older cassette 3-d voids your warranty and then when the board delams which it will becuase of the older glue they used delamed easier you will have no warranty. i help out at a shop and when people want to buy a wakeskate i look into if they are going to be going out a lot and doing it on a regular bases or not. i would say if you are only going to use the board a few times through out the year i would suggest getting a flat deck but if you plan on going very often i strongly suggest a liquid force, concave. depending on how big you are most likely determines the size of board you should get. also you have an option of foam or grip which ever one you choose is your choice.
