che blanc, good qeustion. A quick search turned up nothing. I know the mutiny sight was selling them, so when the Integrity sight is up you might find it there. You could also email Erich. I've heard they are going to have a combo dvd with linear also, so that might also be an option

Thomas was my all time fav. wakeboarder. He has always been one of the coolest guys in the industry as well. He even invented the Hasselhoff if I am not mistaken. I remember an old WBM article about the New Crew. That shizzle was awesome. Chase, Staker, Harris, Horrell...those guys were always about it. Electricsnow, that is awesome about that turntable deck..that is worthy of being hung above a mantel. Wasn't the circuit deck a rip/spoof/homage to that sneaker pimps cd that came out around then.( take me down/six underground/the ground beneath your feet) His riding in Mayday was I think the first footage I had seen. I also remember that double up contest at Sea World. Thomas was doing indy backside 180s and toeside 7's while Darin I think won with a speedball. Also..everyone..listen to russian and take the time and find Decline. It will be worth it.

hey,

Tell me what you think do you think it is photoshopped or was he really a pro wakeboarder
Thanks for the laugh. That got my day going. If you didn't know he used to wakeboard, you also might not know that his front teeth aren't real, they were knocked out like Cobe's.

Ryan, everything Kyle said was common knowledge (and is somewhat important, actually. oh and that includes his false teeth) and that is why he said what he did. It's odd to find anyone that doesn't know that thomas used to wakeboard. But anyway, I suppose you dropped yourself down to kyle's level by doing the same thing he did. So, good point...
Crackerjack, yeah, the turntable deck is dope! I was pretty happy when I found it...I'd kind of like the chinchilla deck at some point too, but whatever. As for the circuit graf, your guess is as good as mine...I never heard that story/theory before, so you never know, that might be it. I wouldn't doubt it, to be perfectly honest...

Here is the sneaker pimps cd I was talkin about. See what you think. I think I remember them being in someone cool's part in some video but I don't really know. Is the chinchilla deck the Andrea limited?

I see what you mean about the circuit deck. I honestly haven't heard any stories behind it, but music has always been a big influence for thomas, so I wouldn't doubt that the deck is inspired from that cd (but obviously, I can't confirm it).
As for the chinchilla deck, it was from that same year...he had four different decks: the blueprint, the circuit, the chinchilla deck, and the turntable deck. The last two are some of my favorite graphics ever.

thomas was still inovating even back in the day... if i recall back to that "new crew" article in wbm about 6-7 years ago. thomas and the new crew were the first to put there bindings all the way out and to ride with long ropes. look at all the pro wakeboarders today; stance all the way out and 75-80 foot lines...thanks thomas!

Not to be all confrontational on here, but the new crew didn't coin wide stances (don't take any of this wrong stompin9's, you have a great point and I do respect it). One of the earlier guys that I believe rode with a wide stance was shreddington-weddington...and josh smith...and upon further reflection, I'd probably throw thomas in there. You know, back then 21 inches was considered wide, but nowadays anything less than 23 makes you look like a trick skier. Some of that came about due to natural progression and encouragement from non-trickskiers (ie snowboarders, skaters, surfers). But you are right, that group of riders did (in my opinion) encourage a more snow/skate influenced style and they rode for the right reasons. I mean, they had attitudes, but opinions are good and I'm glad they were brave enough to voice them. I actually miss watching heavener and staker ride, but such is life....such is life....and I do think thanks are in order. When you think about it, that group caused a lot of controversy from that joke, and now they're all now doing important things in the industry, with two of them having their own companies. I think they got the last laugh...but jeremy might if he makes a wakeskate book.
On a side note, I think stances are excessively wide nowadays...it's like people think they automatically have to put them all the way out to be cool...at least that's the impression I've gotten about "stance talk." Wait, what's my stance? Praying mantis...HI-YA!!

Cheblanc, there is an industry standard for stance inserts. It basically ensures that a liquid force binding can fit on a cwb wakeboard, etc.
ANyway, yeah, lots of wakeskaters use to wakeboard. Cole munster and tim use to wakeboard too.

What I was trying to get at was that, unless I am wrong, all or majority of well-known wakeskaters used to wakeboard. All the Cassette riders, Grubb, Wahlman, Kovacich (sp), Cole Munster, Myles, Steve Schoenhauls (sp), Brandon Thomas, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
Also, I was not trying to come off sounding condescending or anything like that. When I read the beginning of this thread, I literately began chuckling. I know Thomas just as well as anyone on this site even though some might know him personally (which I don't). And like electricsnow stated, if you've been into wakeboarding back when Thomas rode, you would know that about his teeth. It's just some random information, that's all. There could very well be a number of things some of these kids don't know about him simply because they might not have been around the sport that long to know.
I just think you had the wrong impression, but if this is one of my friends that created a kooky user name to screw with people on here, then .

so that means Danny Hampson is really the only first-generation pro wakeskater? (I know he used to wakeboard, but never pro... so that makes him exclusively a wakeskater in the professional world)

And we all know byerly was never a pro wakeboarder

Yeah, Reed was never a pro wakeboarder...although he was a damn good one. I remember him telling me (while wakeboarding together) that certain people in Central FL would not let him ride with them in their boat because he wasn't good enough on a wakeboard.
