|
|
Ok heres the deal, within the next 2 or 3 weeks me and a friend might have access to one of his cousins jetskis. so id like to try and do some wakeskating, since it will be my first time.id like to get a board before then, heres some ive been thinking about because of cost, and length, and i was hoping for some input. keep in mind im about 5'8 and weigh around 125-130.
i was looking at the 06 liquid force faction 42, or maybe the 40. i just dont know what would be best for my weight.
also, the liquid force anthem, either 40 or 42
I dont really wanna spend more than maybe 150 or so on a board, which buywake.com has alot of liquid forces for around that price, so any imput on the best board for the money would be awesome. also if anyone has anything used for sale in good condition id like to see.thanks! |

goin LF then get a impulse 41 like CrzyTexan said or a Reed 42. The Reed is what im ridin now and its the best thing ive ever ridden, i love it. its only like 30/40 more bucks. Idk if they have anymore though cause they were limited. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

brianl289, The mutiny board is an incredibly durable flat deck that (from what i have heard) rides really nicely. Mutiny was owned my Erich Schmaltz who now owns Integrity Wakeskates, some of the most durable decks to date. I think you would be very pleased with a Mutiny.
As for fins... well i know a lot of people ride without them and so do i but it's preference. I wouldn't say you would need them by any means but if you really reel the need you can get them just about anywhere that you can get a wakeskate/board. _________________ - Evan Molina |

id say if you had to get one of those boards i'd go with the anthem, because it not that much more expensive than the faction so if you dont like the sport no big deal, but if you do like wakeskating then you have a pretty decent concave board. get a 40 unless you predict to be growing alot. get foam to start with you wont hurt yourself or your boat/cousins pwc with it and its easy enough to remove it and put on griptape, if you wanna take wakeskating to the next level! i hope this helps. _________________ so fresh |

Go check out ebay right now and type in wakeskate, theres some real cheap good deals on new 2006 LF boards with free shipping, some new 2005 hyperlite boards, and a few rider owned and other boards as well on there right now. |
