|
|
Hey guys!
Just wanna share few pics from my 2nd ride!
I think it was WAY better than my 1st ride (2months ago).
Completed //
Small ollies
360 surface
Questions, Problems and Doubts //
Board = Liquid Force Control 43' w/ foam*
I thought that my shoes stick so hard with the foam. Is so hard to move my feet, sometimes it feels like glued. Is that because of the foam material in contact with the shoes material? Does the grip tape give you this freedom?
I also tryed few shuvs' but my shoes couldn´t let it go. Any tips beside 'change it to grip tape'?!
Thanks Guyz /
C&C welcome...

S!c, yes grip tape will give you much more freedom but will still grip good enough. It is worth it to take your foam off (let it in the sun for a couple hours it will come right off in one piece). Then some grip tape at your local skate shop wont be ruining you, it's worth it.
oh, one more advice, drop the gloves

LOL!
I hate those gloves as well! But this handle sux, its so hard, after 10min ride starts to raise blisters!*
Its all temporary...
Don´t forget that here in Brazil we have to import and the taxes and customs aren´t that friendly! Anyways, I´m glad that I got a board anywayz!

RC, No. He is a beginner and needs it more than most people. Riding vestless is something i really wouldn't recommend for anyone.
If you do ever look into getting a new vest take a look at Helium. They are thin, light, and do not restrict your movement at all. Sick vests for sure .

any competetition vest is thin, light, and is free of restrictions. I like my Jet-Pilot A-10

Ska_686, Not any. In my opinion the Helium vests are a lot better than the A-10 (i have had 2). With the helium you could raise your arms all the way without even feeling the vest.
