Homemade Skate

So my buddy and I are done with football camp and we were looking for something to do in our spare weeks of summer. We read the article on ws.com on how to make your own, but the directions weren't great Sad

. I'm sure there are tons of people who have fooled around with this and i was looking for advice.

Anything is appreciated if someone could give us a full walk through that would be great, if not we were wondering how to put a rocker and some concave on it. We most likely will be using thin sheets of maple.

Search for a member named WWSA. He made a thread that walked you through the process of making a homemade deck and it really looks like an incredibly solid, well made deck.

does anyone know if that guy is willing to build and sell? those look pretty sick and strong. good luck to you man i've built a few flats before its really fun to come up with the shape and stuff.

tompo, cuz when you epoxy 1/8 inch sheets together in the mold then you get a rocker, how could you do that with a 8 ply?

ripava82, i used a half inch 9 ply or somthing but its stiff, and i put some rocker into it just by soaking it and then clamping it
