|
|
For the 4th me and my friends went up to the lake and wakeskated everyday for a week. But one of the days when i was driving the boat back into our cove there was a part of the cove that got really shallow, of course i didn't know that until this happen... suddenly the boat came to a complete stop and we had to junmp out and push the boat off the rocks that i hit. Everything seemed fine so i wasnt gunna tell me dad anything...the next thing i know we go out that night and as he cranks the boat up to go faster the boat starts to shake really bad. I eventually told my dad n he wasn't mad but the next day was the 4th of july. We took the boat out of the water and the prop was totally bent and mangled. So the next morning we get up early call around and actually find some one with a new prop. so we changed the prop out in about 45min and got the boat back in the water at 12pm. I turns out that my dad liked the new prop better because the dimensions on it were a little bit different and i got a bunch of new tricks down on my skate along with my friend...so you could say in a way it was pretty succesful |

Next time I'd be careful about running a broken prop like that, all that vibration can be exteremely bad for the drivetrain, and the running gear on a V-drive boat is not exactly cheap... _________________ The aforementioned postings and musings are the opinions of myself in their entirety and are not the opinions of wakeskating.com |
