alright i skateboard, and i can ollie 2 decks on it. i get my wakeskate tomorrow and i'm wondering if the ollie mechanics are the same. do you pop and drag? or do you just pop and pull up? because in videos it looks like they just pull their front foot up towards their body instead of dragging, but i can't really tell.
thanks in advance.

| push ur weight on to ur front foot slightly and then transfer it all to ur back foot in a bouncing motion and absorb it up like and ollie on a skateboard minus the foot rolling.

| no it won't take u long at all its just a matter of popping and absorbing the board up to u rather than pulling it up to u like a wakeboard. good luck man.

| http://joimag.com/dirty2.htm watch this video and when it gets to Stuart Shinn's section is second trick is a huge Inside out ollie. Pausing that at various point is helping me...it pretty much lays out the technique.

yes you want your back foot on the back of the board... and when you ollie slam you foot hard into the water and bring ytour front knee up then push down a bit with your front foot and suck up your back foot...
