the devoted board worked fine. its a good peice of wood.. but to be honest.
omen cant ship fast enough...

I have ridden a prototype demo Omen and it is a really good board, and the guys at Omen aka Chris is a super cool guy. Just wait, it will be worth it.

about production....
its effing hard, distortion has been having hell getting materialls, presses and all that good stuff so im sure theyll be out asap but its hard to put a date on something when ur giving a date by say the durasurf company and they dont deliver ontime or your glue or whatever. i know we had hell with the graphic company and then when we got them in our presses werent on target so building new presses set us back and now we are starting with new presses ina week or two.

chris, its frustrating aint it?

price.dan, absolutely not Chris live eats breathes and sleeps Omen it is Chris' job every day all day he and I have spent 12 hours on AIM swaping sketches of rocker patterns back and forth trust me Omen is Chris' passion (and the whole team's for that matter Chris was very picky about who rode for us, all of us have a passion for Omen)it is definately not a side job, the problem is that there is a monopoly on the manufacture of dura surf so if orders fall behind there is no competition to go to we tried and the boards turned out sub-standard which is something that Chris, Me Itch or anybody at Omen is NOT ok with, we are truely sorry about the wait, but we wont except anything less than what we belive to be the best

Schmaltz,let me clarify there is only one company that makes it in the mil thickness and finish we use, there are other providers of durasurf, but once again we dont want to be stuck with a substandard product
