it was a great event...
it was nice and warm in washington and lots & lots of riding went down.
i tell you what, those omen boys came up and threw it down!!!!! there skates look good!!!! its a great product and they have a bright future.
the boat event on sudaay was a blast lots of people out to watch. every one was going big. but Drew... from omen took it. i saw... a w2w 360 nose grab(???), a huge, clean, boned out w2w ollie, and just looked solid out there.
i dont know all the final lists but..
Drew took first in boat, followed by kyle walton who was having good time!!! and cant remember who took the rest...
on to day two.. the pool sesion day....

the pool gap and rail was big fun. kyle did take first in the pool with (double tick or kick..?) but lots of shib went down. nick was was solid on a couple board slide shove outs.
i hope to get some pictures up in the next day or two.

ok i was there so i will tell the results no one question these they are 100 percent accurate:
boat/rail contest:
1) Drew Danielo: w2w nose grab front three, w2w shuv indys heelside and toeside (hightlights)
2) Kyle Walton: frontboard shuv on the high flat rail
3) Steve Cambell: heard he stuck a flats frontside flip but not sure totally, i know earlier he did a kickflip and a 3 shuv and that was pretty sick
pool gap contest:
pool set up was a 50 foot pool to like a 4-5 foot drop off into the lake, there was a rail on each side, flatrails that stuck straight out for like 20 feet.
1) Kyle Walton: kickflip out of the pool to flat
2) Jeff Engen: backboard to kickflip out ( )
format:
boat contest was judged out of 30 points: 10 for wake to wake tricks, 10 for style/composition, 5 for lip and flat tricks, and 5 for rails (there weren't that many). there were like 6 heats to begin with and the top 3 went through, then it kept going down til there were like 6, it started with almost 30 i think. it was a great contest though, camping out and freestyle rapping was rad! haha. timmy k can spit, son!

I say they just make it up to Jeff with an inside cover 2 page spread......
That's not to much to ask....hahahahahahahaha
Yo...props to Omen. FYI - they got a tight ass myspace. Someone on staff at Omen has some ninja computer skills. Parky...nice shot on the Alliance site. Were there any other Canadians there?
