i remeber back in the day when the k flip was considered a pro level trick, and thanx to many pros its gone down to almost a basic for all riders, but in Your Opinion name in 3 categories of begginer, intermeidet, advanced(pro) what tricks you would put down for each, ust so people like me who arent to cuaght up with the tricks people r thorwing now..
im prob wrong but i think it would be some where around..
begginer : ollies, 180s, shuvs , surface ect
Intermediet: 360 shuvs, Kick flips, varials , hard flips? and switch tricks
Advanced : w2w big spins, w2w shuv body varials, board slide to big spin out?
i missed alot but am i close to being right? |

Tricks are what they are. It's way too subjective to narrow them into 3 categories. If they take a while to learn, they are harder. If you can learn them in an afternoon, they are easier. _________________

SoFloSkater, i dont think thats to right.....hardflips, varial flips belong in pro.....and w2w big spin is not really a requirment for pro. i dont know many pros even landing that |

skatewake41, i disagree cuz i think that most of what makes skating fun and also what makes you want to progress at the sport is competition. like say you are the first person to land an indy back roll (just using that as an example so dont criticize me)now everybody else is going to be trying to do that trick because you were able to stick it. everybody wants to be better than everybody else. |

I think it depends on the rider themselves. I honestly couldn't care less about the current trick scene in regards to my own riding. Tricks are for kids. It is fun to learn new tricks and push yourself and progress, but there's also this thing of making your riding your own thing, bringing your own style to it and having fun. Artistic integrity.

ripava82, i think ull find most people who are wakeskating for fun will try and do tricks because they want to not because somebody else went out and landed it |

wakesk8r9610, i dont think you saw my point. what im saying is that its not like a beginner is going to try a backflip on a skate if they know that it hasnt been landed. |

Guys stfu
i dont care about style or haven fun with wakeskating in this post
we all have fun with it, and style does matter but thats not what i was asking
, i had just looked at the book : wakeskating instructional and was wondering what u guys would consider under there 3 catagories
Im not saying that this or that trick makes u better and stop acting like its more important to have attitude and style then hard flips and fs. flips
ive been on this site for about 3 years now and ive knowdest that once One person thinks whats best for wakeskaters all u new commers to the sport think itts right
im not saying u should favore tricks over style or blah, im saying Dont make this so damn complicated, asnwer the post , dont put in ur 2 cents about how u think ur attitude is whats most important becuase the post isst about how attitudes uniqueness are better then wakeskating its self. if u cant answer the post then get the fck out of here.
sorry about my spelling, i typed pretty quick |

SoFloSkater, then your friend TJ must have a crappy attitude or something because with those kinds of tricks he should at least have some kind of sponsor.....does he not promote the sport? has he tried for a sponsor? or does he expect them to come to him? |
