just trying to see if theres anymore virginia riders on this site.....last time i asked there were none so im hoping maybe there are some now

well let me know if anyone ever comes to ride in VA, i ride at lake anna, which is somewhere in the middle of the state i guesss...

Shore Drive, lake anna is about 75 or 80 degrees right now Smile

Yeah, we got a chemical plant in Chesapeake. Its always ten degrees warmer than everywhere else. Fish with three eyes. Is it really 80 up there?

i acutally dont know the exact temp, i went out over thxgiving but we forgot the depth finder, which tells us the temp, but it felt quite warm

For those of you around Lake Anna, I have been told that Glass & Powder is offering wakeskating at it's comps this year. I may check out some of the ones at Gaston, but Anna is too far to drive for the day.

cassette315, as far as im concerned that shizzle isnt VA, lol. galax is soooo far away from where i am.

I think your best bets for riding around Galax is either Smith Mtn Lake, VA, or Belews Lake, NC. Unless you can find some smaller lakes to shred.

Lots of skaters at SML, and Oak Wakeskates is based out of Belews.

I'm looking for some other people to ride with in VA. My family has a house up at Smith Mountain Lake and I'm up there every weekend and I'll pretty much be living there after school ends June 13th. We have a boat and I try to ride as much as possible, but my family gets tired of pulling me around. If anyone is up at the lake and wants to hang out and ride, give me a ring (434)546-3946 and ask for Chris. I just started skating, so I'm not very good yet, but I'm working on it. I also like to wakeboard as well.

Yeatts, and anybody else in the VA, NC, SC area: check out www.endofropegang.com It is all about riders in this area. There are a bunch of ppl from SML on there, and while we don't have too many dedicated wakeskaters, there are a few of us on there. Find out about all of the local get-togethers, comps, and it is easy to find pulls.

New to this site and to wakeskating, just learning to ride. There are a lot of us that ride in NVA and lake anna on the weekends. We're usually out 3 days a week and always on the weekends.

Mostly wakeboarders in our crew but they're always trying out the skate as well.

Hope to see some of you out there.

Old guy, new rider... My wife and I just started wakeboarding this year and dig it. So i kept hearing about wakeskating and since i skated in the 80's (some street/mostly vert) i told her i wanted to try it out. She bought me a wakeskate for our anniversary and i've yet to ride it but plan to get out this weekend.. We live like 15 mins from Lake Chesdin... It's small but close... anybody else ride there?
