my friend has a sea doo that's like 85 or 95 HP is that enough for wakeskating? I know more is better but will that be enough to get the job done?

I'm aboot to go slaysh my 65 horse '95 seadoo spI. It works very well for skating. Doesn't throw too much wake though. FVck, I saw someone last week riding behind an aluminum with a 25 on it...HAHAHAHA. Anything's possible. I'll post a pic soon if I can find it.

p.s Lower HP ski's can be camoflauged with Liquid Force stickers and the removal of all stock decals Wink

edit: yeah, the pic of the aluminum thing is on my work computer... I'll have it tomorrow for laughs

I used to have an outboard that was 85 hp and it was fine for wakeboarding and wakeskating, just didn't know how that translates on a jet ski. Gonna see if we can get it running this weekend.

88skisupreme,
That's about 10-20 less in jet power since the size of the craft's hull(resistance) and the output style are inferior. Word.

whats the hp to cc conversion? or is there even one?

I've been behind an older 650cc ski and it seemed to work fine. Not sure if I would want to go much lower though.
