Ridehatzic= this was a contest run not a demo video. Those were all the tricks he threw in the contest.

liquid4ce0069=this was the best judged wakeskate contest I have filmed.
Ben truly won and not because of w2w. ben had a very dynamic line.
he did lip tricks, shuv-its, & huge w2w's. The other riders that did a lot of lip tricks could not do a w2w to save their life. if you want to win in wakeskating you have to be well rounded. Ben & Chase Gregory were the only 2 riders who landed a double-up. Remember this is called wakeskating and only boats throw wakes so for all the skaters who only ride behind jet skiis, you may want to start riding behing boats and learning w2w's cause the future of wakeskating pro tournaments will be behind boats only. I just found this out a few weeks ago at a PWT meeting.

outcomesthewolves= what choice of music do you dig? are you emo and wear girls jeans?
just wondering cause I am always looking for new music to use. What do you have in mind. I love to use -The Faint for wakeskating.

and the pros who only ride behind ski's can win comps they jsut need to be hella awesome with flip tricks... if you have a ski then learn your flip tricks fast and if you are behind a boat you can work on w2w's...use what you have... and when you can use what you dont work on the stuff you cant do...

Great style. smooth those ollie 180s are butter.

i would rather watch some one with style then some kid that can do three flips all day and barely edge out in the flats to save his /her life. its kind of getting old.

I mean if every beginner goes out and just tries to progress in one day and wants to learn every flip variation trick as fast as they can, you'll lack style IMO. just learn to frigging shread, then get tech. It seems everyone is inthatuated (sp) with who can land a harder flip combo and not if the damn rider is REALLY any good at riding. I mean these tricks are cool but when is the last time you seen somebody land a V-flip or some other crazy flip variation and not put there back hand down.

i forgot who it was but there was a thread a while back that talked about people that charge to land every trick as fast as possible, end up in the end to lack smoothness and style. they dont see it as a board to ride just a plank to kick and spin around.

oh yeah, 420EMPIRE: easy on the name calling you gave us the video to look at and obviously to critique so. wwwwwwooooooooaaaahhhhhh.

We judged the contest based on who had the most complete run start to finish, whoever did a good bit of everything. I personally prefer the "skateboard style" of wakeskating, Nobody did a kickflip, If someone had, the outcome might have been different. Bottom line, he did re-entry shuvs, a 3 shuv, Lipslide shuv out, shuv to lip, and other tricks along with the wake to wake stuff. If you had heard the conversation in the boat between Jimmie and I, we were basing the winner on who had the most complete run, with or with out the wake to wake. But that backside 3 of the double up was nasty no matter what style of riding your into.

What did you throw in your run, I am not sure who you are? What's your name Liquid? Just wondering.

I didn't call anyone any names did I? I was serious, I am getting over the hill when it comes to new music and always need suggestions on what music to use for videos.
I didn't mean to make it look like I was freaking out, just bustin ball on my boys.
I am chill and love the imput on my videos so I can keep making them better.
so if I came across like an ass I apologize.
I don't do it on purpose, my thougts just come out the wrong way.
like the dude who said he hated hip-hop, I was seriously curious to what music he dug so I can switch it up for my next wakeskate video. Greg Brewer turned me onto "The Faint-(thanks Brewer) I used a lot of the faint for the "Gator River" gator boards team video when Kovacich & Doyle rode and Cypress Hill for wakeboarding.
Always looking for new music so hit me back w/ some bands and I will try to score the videos w/ them.
keep the takes on my videos coming so I can keep progressing w/ the camera like you guys do w/ wakeskating.

420EMPIRE, use whatever music you want to in your videos. they are your videos in the first place. Personally I like it when people are creative and find new music or use something off the wall that most people dont expect. Nekkie uses a lot of french hip hop in his videos and i dig those a lot.

The faint is good and all but when everyone has used them already it can seem to get played out; thats just my opinion.

I never said I hated hip hop ya pothead. I thought the song sucked. Big deal. I personally didn't think it fit the video. I would have liked to have heard a more aggressive tune to go along with the way that kid rides thats all.

If your riding contest behind a boat, you need to use the boat. Last year at the tige event i'm pretty sure that reed hanson did 2 flip tricks in his run and still got 3rd. Why ?? 1st and 2nd used the wake (i could be wrong on 2 flip tricks but there was for sure 1). Boat riding is its own style, Dont be a bunch of little haters, Be stoked that someone is actually doing it a different way. .

And if your doubting his skills didn't he just get 3rd on the pro tour give me a break.......

Boat riding is different then ski, thats it. Its just different. i personally think its what seperates the men from the boys but Hey i'm just some retard that cant do flip tricks right ???
