Hey guys,

I've been lurking these forums for a month or so now, reading up on wakeskating and such. I'm just starting this year, though I've been wakeboarding for a couple years. I only have long island sound to ride on over here, no good lakes, so its a little choppy but I deal lol. Like i said, just wanted to say hey and introduce myself, and I'll let you know on my progress as soon as I start gettin out there!

one time a lawn knome (sp?) started talking to me outside of a frat party...

so we tied it up and put it in the closet until we sobered up... Rolling Eyes

Hey everyone,

I'm also new here to forums, i've started wakeskating a year ago on a crappy skate called the butterboard. I'm from the deville area in Lousiana and all i skate behind is bass boats in the swamp, dodging cypress trees and their knees (i'm shure you cajun people know what i'm talkin about). I started out wakeboardin about 3 years ago and well you can't really do anything behind a bass boat so i figured I buy a wakeskate. I just recently bought an 06 bylery. neways when i started wake boardin and wakeskatin i was surprised on how the the sport is growing and all the people i have met through it. So keep it up!

search, from waht ive gathered on the forums is that grip > foam. Also, when i said fins i was J/k'in, what ive got about fins is like what double down said, either start without them or start with them and lose them, i think without them makes it easier for tricks, surface tricks at least (i think)
