No wakesurfer is going to run you over $400. Just about everybrand makes them now. If you want to do surface tricks and shuv-its, and small tricks like that, Check out the smaller more rounder boards, and If you just want to cruise, check out wider, longer boards. _________________ www.dallaswakeboarding.com |

there are lots of tricks lol. the best board imo is the shread stixx. http://www.shredstixx.com/ shread stixx were the first wakesurfing company around, started back in 1999. the owner has been wakesurfing since like '63 behind a boat.
check out pics of this surfer kid, the owner and founder of shread stixx and me, riding their board here:

Phase 5 is a good trick board. from what i hear thats the stick to shred on in O-town behind the Avalanche. Landlock is a good board although the 06's have not had good reviews becuase of a larger edge. but 04's, 05's are great if you minimize the fins by at least half.... _________________ 60% of the time, It works EVERYTIME!!

skimboards are what you want to use behind a boat if your going for tricks. Phase 5 is probably the closest thing to a skimboard and wakesurf mix you will get. If you look at skimboard manufacturers you can get a 3/4 inch thick board that usually floats pretty well. check out these sites and see what you like

exiles make tight skimboards.. I own a slotstik which is really nice. But the boat taht we use doesnt make a big enough wake to go without the rope, and I'm not tryin it behind my Lund. Outboard motor = death _________________ www.omenskates.com
