Nice work guys... (especially sims work) Regarding wakeskate designs and shapes, I would prefer the Cassette A-symmetrical shape with a more durable base and edges, like the Hyperlite wakeboards and also with aluminium fins. I would also prefer a little bit more kicktail and side leverage... Afro

electricsnow, I saved a picture of the graph on my computer, resized it, printed it and made the stencil.

It was in 2002 and I cannot remember where I found the pic. Anyway, it was on the Internet.
Maybe a pic of Thomas' 99 board or a logo from the "old" Mutiny website...? Not sure.

And, I'm not teasing you, it was just a cheap joke related to the winch patent drama. Right?
BTW, have you noticed the "new" Mutiny website? Or is it just me?

Teasing, cheap joke, I knew what you were up to Smile There have been other jokes but like I said, I don't regret my opinions and posts. We are flavorful in this "gumbo" pot of life--cheesy? Yes.

That graphic was used for a number of things--thomas' old mutiny wakeboard model was one and he later used it on the first cassette prototypes (the wood decks, not the airbrushed wakeboards). Mutiny has continued to use that graphic for other things. A couple of years ago I bought a mutiny t-shirt from the site and that militia graf was on there.

Yes, the mutiny site has changed. Those song lyrics are ridiculously appropriate, considering what erich has been going through. Long before the site changed, I saved all of the online ads that they had posted. Some I have in print form, others I have yet to find. One I'd really like is the kris markovitch (sp) raley ad.

Again, your stencil work was amazing.

Do you have any pics of the first Cassette prototypes?
That would be nice.

Are you feelin' lucky, punk? What would the net kids say...jk, lol, lmao? I think that's it...

Ok, on a more serious note, don't plan on finding one of these on the net. Apparantly this graf appeared on the first nine cassettes EVER and a few of them broke because they were 7-ply suckas. They were distributed through wakeskate.com, which sucks because I wasn't even on the net in 1999.

The second pic is the horrell mutiny ad I saved from the old mutiny site. YOu can see the militia on the right side of the ad.

The third pic means have a nice day.

Ahh paul, A+. It looks like there's an alien workshop sticker on there. Seriously, the board looks really nice. I just have one question for you: how were you able to get that old militia graf on there? Did you make your own stencil or were you able to purchase something from someone...

Whatever you did, it turned out really sharp and it looks nice.
Ya im with Parky, regrip tape the deck and it will look tight.......and NO stickers on the top. Smash

No problem paul. Seriously, I'd love to find one of those decks. Or even one of the decks from the first run before they went over to liquid, but those are limited (and were breakable) as well. At any rate, It's nice to dream...

As for me having a sense of humor, I actually do (according to recent studies). I don't always put it out there and there are some topics that I'm actually quite serious/passionate about. I don't doubt that there are other people that feel the same way, but whatever--they don't *really* know me anyway.

Oh, and I say put stickers wherever you want--they add character. It's funny, a couple of years ago Peter Line wrote this article for snowboader about the importance of one's sticker set-up. Now smile...

electricsnow, I'm in sociology, so I'm supposed to know the "meaning" of stickers. At least, I hope so...

In 2004, the Cassette boards are not limited, not breakable but still have some serious diseases...

No problem russian. That picture came from the site that started it all--wakeskate.com. Someday it would be cool to see a throw back graf or maybe a small homage on a different deck, but I'd suspect that new graphics would be desired over there (at cassette) rather than something they've already done. That's my guess, they seem crazy like that...so crasy...

This year pe-tah line put a rainbow on his snowboard, which was the graphic on his first pro model and it was kind of a retirement board because for next year he's designing a model but it won't be his promodel. Ahhh, a sad day in snowboarding...it's hard to hear him say his body hurts (I think he's been a pro for 10 years and had a model for 9). Shaun murray has his retro series this year, but to me it seems a little early for that. But to each his own...byerly would have some interesting throw backs.

Paul, that seems to be the rumor but I think a number of companies have some work to do. But as for the stuff that's been said about the cassette decks, I don't know what to make of that--I know they are having their stuff done in a different factory and different materials are being used. And it doesn't matter what company you go with, there WILL be a bad board every now and then. I guess time will tell, as far as these decks are concerned.

che blanc, that's cool, but be carefull, it's really f*cking hard to shape the board and everything if you use wood. If you cut the end's off an old wakeboard, seal the ends and grip it, You've got your own ghetto board!!

here's a couple boards I've just finished making. The blue deck is concaved using EVA foam glued onto a wood flatstyle deck with grip over top. The other has EVA as grip.

Dev will be stoked that so many people are check'n out his site.
