screw sector 9...go with gravity...www.gravityboards.com there customer service is perfect...i snapped there team 40 and they gave me half off on my next board...ill never buy another sector 9..everyone has them, and the owners just want money...Check out the movie Flow made by gravity...by far the BEST longboard/skateboard movie out there...

what about just cruiser boards? I'm think about picking one up. Not necessarily a "long board" but maybe a little longer than the average skateboard with a much smoother ride. Any suggestions? It would be for mostly flat ground, riding to class and to the store and just carving around, stuff like that.

Greg T, Alva Skates makes a nice cruiser deck, Tony Alva makes great skateboards they take abuse like an OAK does, I know that for sure I've been riding nothing but Alva boards since like 92-93. Check out Solidskate.com or Sk8supply.com, both are killer. Although, Solidskate is more Longboard oriented and Sk8supply is more pool sk8er oriented.
Longboards are killer in pools and parks, flow for days just keep goin and goin.

I could make one for you.. I've been making slalom boards for a while.. and my friends have been asking me for some longboards, so I'm going to try some longboard shapes too...

I have one of those guys, its grrreat. 32" but a longer wheelbase due to the lack of nose. I love it...
