what are your tradtions before u ride?

i dont no if its just me but, does any one do some thing before they ride , either sum thing that u might do every time ur in the water, or some thing u do so u get luck to have a good session, what are your tradtions before u ride?

i ususaly get the water around me warmer first Wink

then i look at my board that has a cross on it, and pray
i dont do to horrible and that i ride to relax , and not to impresse

any one else?

i always go all the way under water before i ride... for some reason i fell like i have a better session if i do that...

I usually calm the wind down and tell the water to be gentle with me. I kiss my skate on the forehead and dedicate each ride to my dad.

I stretch, or at least it runs through my mind that I should. And then I get on my shoes and vest, put the skate on the water, and with the handle in my hand, push off and spin a backside 180 as I sink in and go into shock, even if I have a suit on. Then I dip my head in the water to get aquainted. Then when I'm up I always have to do some hard sprays and presses before anything else.

I always try and take a dump while im on land, if not I add some brown trout to the lakes population. You just gota be careful for the ones that submarine; sink then surface when ur not expecting it Shocked

i also release some bad energy from my system by taking a dump then smoke a cigarette before riding...you'll feel a lot lighter!

flip the skate and try to land on it, then pee in the water. I'd like to go way under water... but it's probably not a good idea, zero visibility after 3 ft. and maybe dead people at the bottom.

I like to keep my hair dry as long as I can, I like to flick my faux emo swoop after I stick my tricks, and that just doesn't go down with a wet soggy tangled mane.

i always try to stretch then i put on my shoes(left one the right one) the i pull a sweet drive into the water.

Float on my back for a minute, then go under water and just sit under there until i run out of breath. It calms me. Cool

i put my shoes and vest on and stand on the swim platform and face whoever is on the boat that is watching me. then i start to smile as i urinate in my boardshorts, then see how long it takes them to realize that im urinating in my shorts, and then see how long it takes for them to realize that its OK for me to do such a thing since i'll be getting in the water. but i only get in the water after im completely done with my urination.

try it. its fun. i swear.

i put on my vest and shoes tie them up tight. walk onto the dock skate in my left hand.....place my skate on the water in front of the dock, sit down on the dock, push my skate underwater then bring it ack up get the handle from spotter, then i practice suvs until its time to take off...

When I deep water start my hair Has to be wet. I make sure it is, but if I dock start my hair cant be wet, if it is, then I just jump in and do a deep water start. I dont care about my bodys wetness, just my hair. I dunno why, but I have just always done it like that.
