Firstly, welcome to the site.
Second, any answer you get will be entirely subjective. Some of the better skates out on the market right now in my opinion are Cassette, Integrity, Omen, Liquid Force, Gator Boards, and Oak. If you can demo many boards to see which ones fit your style best.
Also in the future please use the Search function to search for your question. _________________ The aforementioned postings and musings are the opinions of myself in their entirety and are not the opinions of wakeskating.com |

does your dad want to pay shipping? then it depends if you wanna order a deck or go to a shop.
your name is aurora, is there a hidden meaning behind that? or is it where you live, cuz i know of an aurora near me, I can direct you to shops around your place and also where you can get boards, but if your name has nothing to do with where you live, I dont know why I wrote this all. |

I don't know what an "integ" is, but Integrity Wakeskates are, in my opinion (and I've ridden my fair share of skates), the absolute best wakeskates out there. They are designed by Erich Schmaltz, the Heart and Mind behind Integrity, and the rest of the Integrity team. They last many years longer than any wooden skates out there, and are completely customizable. Right now there are two sizes available, 41 inches and 39.75 inches. Board size is a personal preference, regardless of any chart handed to you. Either of those sizes will be very easy for you to progress on. Have fun, wakeskating's a source, it'll change your life, swear to God

Have you ever ridden an Integrity or a Cassette? Seriously I know you want to have the "coolest" or "best" skate, but at the end of the day Demoing is the only way you're going to find the skate that best fits your style of riding. Since you live in Florida, there is probably a shop in your area, ask them about their demo program, usually if you demo a bunch of boards and then end up buying one, they'll usually let you put the demo fee(s) towards the purchase of your new board.
Also as far as "sources" go for wakeskating, wakeworld is probably the worst place to go. Most of those guys don't even know what a wakeskate is. _________________ The aforementioned postings and musings are the opinions of myself in their entirety and are not the opinions of wakeskating.com

Responding to the comment that an Integrity is too light...
The new boards are 8.5 lbs I believe... which is a significant difference when compared to that Tolstoy you posted.
The opinions on Wakeworld IMO are not the best, most of the reviews say something like "I like this board its awesome... It can spin good"... or "such and such rider rides this board, which is why I bought it" well, IMO a good rider can make a lunch tray spin good, and what matters is how you ride on it, not how a pro does.
That being said, I believe the boards made by Integrity/Omen/Kampus/Oak/Sattelyte/Cassette and whatever other company will have something that you can have fun riding on... which is what this is all about in the first place. |

| prety much what this post is saying is, if you want a composite board, go with integrity, if you want a wood board, go with cassette, oak, omen, or sattelyte. |

Aurora, girl, too light? no, not at all. plus a lighter board would be ideal for you. because you are light yourself. 41 inch integrity lemons, or a 39.5 nick taylor. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2VJfZOomIM |
