This is from vol. 1 issue 1 of Bluetorch Wakeboard. Jason Messer's interview by Thomas Horrell. I thought anybody who has any interest in this sport should be able to read it. Sorry if it is too small to read or slanted... at least I tried.

Bluetorch was out before Alliance... don't want to jump to conclusions as to whether or not they were affiliated.

Brandn, no problem Cool .

Yeah Russian, I think that was part of it. I think part of their displeasure came from the shut down of bluetorch and how they were treated (meaning how they were treated once it was decided that bluetorch was done). I heard some stuff a couple of years ago but I don't remember a whole lot anymore. Anyway, a few of the same guys got together and made their own magazine, hence the name "Alliance." It's quite touching...

They have 54321 and Fusion TV now. I think those are the two. Oh, and "Off the Wall" from VANS. But I havent seen Bluetorch on tv in a long time.

to bad blue torch was good. Up here in Canada we dont get any of that off the wall or fusion stuff. We have extreme channel but thats like friggen kick boxing and old school 80's british barefooting. I saw wakeboarding on it once but it was british skurfing. Rolling Eyes

Hey Kyle Hyams, could you tell me what year and month that article was published, what page numbers the interview is on, and who the editor is. I need to site this article for a speech I am giving for a class of mine.

Bluetorch Wakeboard; March/April 2000; pp 52-54 & 55; Written by Thomas Horrell, but the Editor is none other than Bill McCaffray.

Good luck on your speech. I took a class last semester, for one of my speeches I taught the class how to wakeboard Smash
