Skate Features?

Does anyone make a skate with round edges in the middle where the flat spot is and sharper edges towards the nose and tail? This SEEMS like a good idea for a better edging w2w board while still having a board that is good for lip tricks and durable on rails.

What would you guys think of a skate that had small built in fins about 1/2" long kind of like the 03 byerly wakeBOARD.

I am kicking around the idea of building a skate. I know I will have no problem building the core out of wood or foam, but I have zero experience with fiberglass and epoxy resin.

i think what your saying is variable edges on a skate. that's what liquid force have on their skates.

Integ's come with re-shapeable rails so you can customize the way you want your rails. You can round them in the middle and leave them sharp on the ends, pretty much any way you want them.
