are these all the same? i am looking at buying some to put on my floating dock to sliderize it. just wondering about some details. thanks..

no, I made one. I havent put any decking materials on it...just the surface of the wood and once its wet it slides perfect so my advice is save your money and wet it.

really? well anything that works. ive heard the pros use composite decking, and i was wondering if all of those brands were the same as far as sliderabilityness.

we used Trex in the Under360 pool gap at my house, looked good, but i would save your money

umm i think the plastic decking stuff by me sells for about 20 bucks for a 6 inch wide sheet 20 feet long...not sure htough but thats what my neighbor told me

you could use pvc pipe. All those brands of decking are about the same. Good luck and have fun.

Buy PVC, or save some money and just duct tape a frag grenade to your thigh.[/sarcasm]

Go for Trex decking, the best. Can't splinter, shrapnelize, warp, or absorb water. Or explode.

well, the PVC would be harder to attach to the dock, see as you could just counter sink screws into the composite stuff and be done.
