i havent used fins on a board in a while. then, the other week, i put integ fins on a k-39. i liked how you have to pop the board first before initiating the spin. with no fins, you can cheat it.
i'm sure you will hear from peeps who can pop correctly without fins though. |

I like riding finless. I think it gives me the free feeling that I left wakeboarding for. No straps, no fins, no tootsie flips...etc. I think it gives the wakeskate more opportunity for creation. If you do surface shuvits and lipslide to slide bs 270 out, and your worried about what you look like whilst skating, by all means, put some fins on. If you are riding to have fun, do just that, ride what is more fun for you (fins/no fins). If you can hold your own on a skate or just don't care what people think and you don't want to ride fins, "no one can stop us from doing what we want to do."
I <3 wakeskating. _________________ √ |

| No fins...just because I like relying more on my balance and edge of the board. I also like it because you can make the board behave however you want it to, loose, or tight...just depends on how you're riding it. |

No fins fa sho. I pop my tricks just fine without them. My shuv tricks are most of the time higher than my ollies. I had fins on my k39 and hated it, it felt all goofy. I love the loose feeling of it to, like riding a longboard. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

I took some Kampus fins and sanded them way down, prettymuch as far as you can go before you hit the screw sleeves. I really like em, because I can break them loose at will, but still have that "finny" bite when initiating turns. _________________

Yo fins 4life for me fellas, I'm old and I need the extra stability. I like how you have to pop the fin before you shuv, it feels big; and I like how it sticks the landing. For each his own. _________________ dbanana wrote:

I started with fins, i learned all the basic lip tricks, and shuv tricks and even 3 shuvs with fins, then i took them off and loved it, it was so much more fun and free. like what nick said, what i left wakeboarding for, the free finless binding less feel where u can slide around and do anything no boundries. |
