i hav no choice but to ride saltwater and there are no gators anywhere near me. but its jelly fish season at the moment and those little b@stards scare me when i ride over them. accepting all sympathy Laughing

. and its funny when they wash up on the beach and die, we grind them with my friends skimboard.

youshould catch a gator, keep it hostage and tell the gators that if they ever attack you, you will kill their pal, but if they dont, you'll give the gator back. Rolling Eyes

or just bring a big axe or somethin sharp in the boat for defense

ive actually had a croc swim right by me... they dont bother anyone so i really dont care... and in florida you either deal with them or you dont ride... its as simple as that...

the thing that did suck in the st johns last year though is they closed the whole river for toxic blue algae or some shizzle like that... i had to go an hour south everytime i wanted to ride Sad

where i ride you have to worry about gators, bullsharks, iguanas, oyster beds, otters, manatees, and tarpon.....all at the same time. saw a four foot gator with its entire head bit off once, kinda weird.

Iamjesse, i know around here this is like gator mating season and we always see more of them this time of the year. could be the same in texas.

hey bret, the day after you left, wesley came ride, and he fell about 4-5 foot from the shore, and there was a gator right the chickity china the chinese chicken there staring him down.. that gator didnt budge... the funny part was noone made a big deal about it. we were just like... hey look, a gator!!! yay!!!
