I also Think Drew McGuckin gets alot less video time than he deserves. He seems like a reel solid rider all the way around...Plus he gets some huge pop off the wake...He has a couple w2w's in sfumato that are just plain sick.

id put GVW on the list, i know he's got more tech tricks than 3/4 of that list up there right now, just doesnt have the recognition...atleast over leif erkkila, although i guess regripping a skate is a pretty good trick

rob, there is no way you can put byerly on the list, sure he is a legend, but deffinately does not touch some of the younger guys. i guess you could see him as an inspiration of sorts, but still, not in the same league

I think Byerly deserves to be on that list as much as any of those rider.
Have you seen him on the rails, he's also doing some pretty nice W2W and his kickflip in all or nothing is so big. Thats my opinion but i don't know how many of those riders can do a shuvit over a 10 X 10 dock ?

Not to mention that byerly has had some dope lil' rails, like the flat down flat that was in sfumato. Remember Kids, we don't see EVERY trick that byerly does (he doesn't suck). Don't worry Kyle, I'm sure Leif has some strengths that Greg doesn't (but greg is talented, I won't deny that). Yes, I can smell the bitterness...

although its a tough choice I'm gonna have to go with horrell. I just think he has so many tricks, but more importantly, I think he is the smoothest and most innovative on the list. Besides all of that, he is the number one reason why we are were we are in this sport. His company's vision, team, and style (in the way of art and design) are light years ahead of the rest. Everyone should take a look at the art work justin tucker and josh johnson are putting out on their decks and videos, and should get a f()cking clue. Wake up hyperlite! cemeteries gates, what an innovative way to communicate "the gate."

I'm always right, huh? I told you I could smell the bitterness.

I've seen footage of leif and he is talented when it comes to jibs. Greg is stronger in other areas, especially with his varial flips and whatever else he is doing--as I said, each have their strengths and weaknesses. Quite frankly, I'm sure it's appreciated that you're pitting two teammates against each other. (doesn't greg ride for kampus?) By the way, YOU'RE the one that's hung up on "who's the best." Please, let us all know who wins that fight, as I'm sure it's on all of our minds...

EDIT: I wanted to say something about greg lantz's post. I agree with the cassette artwork thing too. They really have some of the most unique grafs out there--even the old black and white equipment drawings. You can always tell when it's a cassette deck, and that's what I like about them. Seriously though, one thing has not been played out yet, and that's the 8 ball. I hope that one day when cassette comes up with an 8 finned board or something, they can put a giant 8 ball on the bottom and call it an eight track.

One other graphic I respect is the Mutiny perseverance graf. I've said this before, but It actually has meaning behind it and it's not something that was conjured up in the hopes that it would attract a certain demographic.

kyle thats real nice but do you notice that is one of the first video's out on the video list so its really old i mean and being a pro rider isnt all about tricks you can do a lot of it is the publicity you get and leif does get a lot of publicity (i dont know how to spell that word)

i didn't know you could smell bitterness over the internet, im not comparing teamates, im comparing riders. this post isnt about who has the best team, it is who the best riders are... maybe you should stay off the 8 balls instead of dreaming of them to show up on the bottom of the board
