My family owns an old Galaxie deckboat, its early to mid 90s. Me and my friends go out a lot and wakeboard and wakeskate. The boat is I/O. I don't have any bags or anything just wondering if there is a certain trim i should have the motor set at for the best wake. I know the boat isn't exactly the best for boardsports but its better than no boat!

good thing your on a wakeskating forum asking this question cause you are in luck. We don't need big wakes. your problems are solved.

Well I did choose the non-wakeskating part of the forum for a reason. Maybe you thought it was in another part? I don't need any wake at all for wakeskating because as of right now I am pretty horrible just trying to get down the basics. But I do enjoy some wake for the other thing I like to do on the water, wakeboarding. I know this is not a forum for wakeboarding, just thought you boat and wakesport gurus might be able to help out a newbie. Thanks.

Every boat is different, there probably is a certain trim point that works for your boat. You just have to keep playin with it to find out what works best for your ride.

f250power, if you want to make some quick and easy fat sacks here are two options.

1. Take 5-gallon buckets and fill them w/ cement and put them in your boat.

Or...

2. Take heavy duty trash bags and fill them w/ dirt/sand and use duct tape to keep it together and solid so the bag won't rip.

Try one of those out...should help your wake out
