I do my second year at upper secondary school. We have something called project work (projekt arbete), and that's a BIG project we do in shool. It is 100 points just like a course in for exampel english!!! I studdy a program for natural science so my project work have to be conected to natural science. And this is how it is... I'm planing on doing a winch as my project work! I talked to my teacher today and he gave me green! YEA!
Questions, stupid questions... I know what a winch is and I think that I'm going to use it in (by) a small river near my house. The first question is: When the winch has winched me in, do I have to swim/walk all the way back or is there another way? Second question is: Must someone stand by the winch all the time to start and stop or is there another way? Third question is: How long should the line be? _________________ Liberate your feet! |

| yes you have to walk all the way back lol and someone has start the winch because almost all winches are gas powerd and you start them like you would start a lawn mower and the most winches have the lines around 500 feet long |

Yeah line lenghts go from 200ft to 500ft, so make sure to ask what kind of line you get
That's the only bad thng about winching, you need to walk/swim back with the handle to where you start... or have a minibike with a buddy to get a ride back hehe. That's what we'll do here once we have a winch _________________

at least 500 ft of rope, we run almost a 1000 out at the beach and yes of course u have to walk or swim back to were u start.
also if ur doing deep water starts ur going to have troubles with a centrifical clutch. |

headhuntermx4, not EVERYONE has problems deep water starting with a centrifugal clutch. You just need the right gear ratio, which not A LOT of people have. A torque converter nullifies the requirement of a correct, deepwater-to-top end gear ratio. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

| Chris41, thats prob true but its still wierd to do, kyle walton had a grinch with a centrifical and they could do deep water starts but not everytime and when they got up it would recoil really wierd, not even close with our final product. |
