Modding My New GB Doyle?

Why don't you try it with the foam?...

Hey guys,
I just bought an 06 GB Doyle and i wanna do some stuff to it to make it better. Fist im gettin 2 Hyperlite Shank Fins for it. but i wanna put grip tape on it, Im just not sure if it would work to good because of how there it like a lip so that the foam has like a grove would it ride ok if i put grip tape on it? even with the raised edge? has anyone used the doyle yet to know how the foam rides?

I just got one myself I thought the foam was to sticky I couldn't slide my feet to well, just finish gripping mine seems fine just bevel the edges of the tape good.

I printed it up and taped it to the board and and cut out the pattern with a razor. You can use a paint pen to paint then if you want it is better though to plan ahead and paint board first before you grip it. You can also just paint on the grip with stencils and spray paint to get the graffiti look.
