For anyone wondering about Oak wakeskates, I just recently got this board, and it ranks as one of the best skates I've rode. It really reminded me of a wider version of my 484, seemed to have more rocker though. It has awesome pop on ollies and w2w, and it tracked really well without using fins. The fins that come with Oaks seem perfect, I think there around 3/4 in. Im going to try them out soon. I would recomend this skate to anyone out there. Of course its wood, but if you prefer wood over composite get an Oak, but if you prefer composite go with Integrity for sure. Can't beat either product!

ive ride the GEGE, the edges i think are perfect, ive never caught an edge, or near to one in fact, ive ridden with one fin and seems like the fin it perfect, kinda hard to get used to it but i managed, over all, the toughest board ive ever ridden...

che blanc,

That's what I heard to, but there acutally really good, I was thinking about round them a little more myself, but Im going to get used to it before I make any drastic changes. I was able to do all my normal stuff with ease. The pop on the ollies is crazy, like off the start roller.

When are we going to ride?

Check out boardstop.com. Dave has some more left over there. 199. Can't beat that price for a skate of this qaulity.

i just got a blue 41 prodigal today from boardstop. should i try and seal the holes where the fin screws would go? should i have paid an extra $15 to have the board rushed when i didnt know it was coming from less than 200 miles away? probably not.

I don't think the edges on OAKs are square at all. They may not be as 'round' as some other boards, but it certainly wouldn't be the board's fault if you caught an edge Laughing

Dumb question...TTUFAN24 - why would you want to seal the fin holes? Curious.

Just take some masking tape, tape the bottom of the deck over the hole. Take a birthday candle and melt it into the hole. Worth it IMO just for the insurance, expecially on a wood deck.
