help!!!

what should i do.. my friend and i have been building this for a week and now everything is going wrong.. the water is too strong and break the plastic. and it looks different from how we pictured it... and the rail wont catch on fire!! gas doesnt work either.. heres too pictures... what should i do in an hour... take it apart and say chickity china the chinese chicken it or ride it for a little bit

There has to be a way to make it stronger because they had a huge pool like that at the projects a few years ago--you might try asking pat for some advice (the rail expert).

If I had been building that, I would have actually made the pool smaller and I would have had the rail out of the water. YOu could either ride it out on wet grass (you probably wouldn't go to far on a wakeskate) or you could build a small pool on the other end of the rail. But the main thing I would have done would be to make the pool smaller--you don't need that much water in order to wakeskate. It looks damn fun otherwise, so good luck with everything.

Hey, if you have boombox, watch the "pointless jib" section for some future ideas.

EDIT: looking at your think again, I'd DEFINITELY keep the rail out of the pool. I would rather fall on the ground vs. falling on the frame of the pool and possibly impaling myself. For the other end, you could either get a plastic kiddie pool or an inflatable pool to ride into. If you fall on that, you don't need to worry about it stabbing you, and then when you get up having your kidney staring back at you on the frame (ok, that's an exaggeration). ANyway...

Can you ride it or will it just fall apart if you try? Sorry it didn't work out like you planned, it looks like it would have been fun.

If it were me, I'd ride it because of all of the hard work I put into it.

i dono if ur sayin it is not strong enough to ride in but me and my friend built a pool and it broke the first time but we reinforced all sides and all places where wood came together and then we screwed a couple parts into dock whihc helped from the bowing out and were gon put some plywood under and screw the sides to it so it doesnt come out as much but ours was a lil smaller almost 30 feet by a lil less then 5 feet wide and we used it to ollie out into the bay off of the dock yours looks really cool and hope it works

1 thing to remeber is that water ways about 8 lds. per gallon. Rember that when you trying to reenforce the walls. Also, when you put any weight on the water it's going to displace. I would suggest either digging it out or making the frame one solid piece then reenforcing the liner in between boards.(look at above ground pools)
As far as the fire goes. Use motor oil but make sure you have a class c fire extingwisher because oil binds to everything it touchs and has a hire burn temp than gas. It will f things up good. Plus, it's water resistant and will flote on the surface. You might need a blow touch to light it up!
