I've been getting into believing that what you do now can come back and bite you in the ass later, so I've been trying to be a better person so good things will happen later on. so far it's been god because I might get to help with the L13 video.
Does anybody else live by karma? (or try to) |

The L13 video sounds like bad Karma to me. Tell Paul I think that he is gay……hahaha JUST KIDDING!!! Now that I know that he is planning on making a video, I think that the Sattelyte Ontario crew may have to do the same. That will be the only way to level the Karmic balance in the universe.
Seriously… so long as you are living on this Earth you are governed by the classic laws of physics, ie….
Newton’s 3 Law:
III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Karma is a hindu’s way of describing Newton’s third law, and if anyone has figured out a way to bi-pass the laws of physics, please let me know…. _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

I believe that if you lead a good lifestyle you will have a good life, which is common knowledge. As for the Buddhist, Hindu, and Sihk form of it, which is if you lead a good life you will be further reincarnated into a higher life form in your next life and closer towards enlightenment, I don't believe in. I've found a bunch of loopholes in those religions so obviously I'm not gonna believe in them. Christianity I have yet to find loopholes in, so that's the one I try to base my life after. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

1) Biblical Contradiction:
"... I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." -- Genesis 32:30
"No man hath seen God at any time..."-- John 1:18
2) "Now it is such a bizarrely improbably coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful [the Babel fish] could have evolved by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as a final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.
The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."
"But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED."
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic."

| about a month ago i quit drinking, smoking pot, and anything that can alter my mental state of being. two days ago a bunch of my friends got caught having a good time, and the night before that my car got searched by a cop who had nothing better to do. had that happened to me a month ago i would probably be in deep shizzle with everybody around me and the law. |

1) The story of Jacob wrestling with God was not meant as a literal translation. Do you think Jacob actually wrestled with God? No. It was God as the Holy Spirit.
John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
That's the full passage. Notice it says "grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known." God has never been seen as the Father (the One and Only), but as the Son and through the Holy Spirit.
2) That's from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, not the Bible. That doesn't prove anything. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

If you grasp all of the teaching's of Christianity then the Bible is bulletproof. I guess what I said about the loopholes in the other religions was kinda contradictory because I don't know every aspect of those religons, so I can't really start critisizing them. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

Mr. Top Hat, You're right, I can't really judge other religions because I'm judging them from my faith and point of view, so I totally contradicted myself.
When it comes to argueing about relgions, it's kinda pointless cuz no one will ever be right because al religions are based on faith, not fact. I really wanna stay out of this drama and argueing on this site, it's kinda gay, so I admit that what I said was contradictory and douchey and like I said, argueing about religions is gonna get you nowhere but pissed off at other people. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

"2) That's from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, not the Bible. That doesn't prove anything."
Hitchhiker's Guide is a great work of fiction, just like the Bible.
jboss....I agree. I don't want to go down this road any further because I know where it is going to lead........ the same place every religious quarrel leads -- to anger and conflict.
Einstein proved that there is "no such thing as an absolute frame of reference." Your POV is your POV. My POV is my POV, and there is no universal arbiter to tell us whose POV is right........
.......except for the laws of physics which govern everything and all things. _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |
