Im leaning towards the oak, but the catalyst has the shank fins for rails.

Can anyone with either board shoot out some pros and cons.

And anyone know where to get the black milans online?

Rolling Eyes Like ive told everyone that wants to get an Oak, ive ridden all wooden boards my entire wakeskate life, not one has felt as strong or a sturdy as the Oak, ive hit too many rails and have slammed it around pretty good on some logs that i was jibbing, even the edges of docks. Any other board i would have done this with would have snapped after a couple of weeks doing this, but thats because how i ride. Last year from June to December, i broke over 5 boards, 4 liquid force impulses, my old LF Foam 43 Concave, bottem deck of a 42 bi-level, and a 04 Kampus K-41...........ive been ridding the same way how ive always been on this oak and nothing, since the first time its been on the water, has changed. With 16ply, its built to take a beating and it wont stop, unless you cut it into a 38 in LF and uneven edges like Parky here.... Laughing jk Parky, but im just saying my experience with it, you can think what you want and it really depends on your riding style. Overall i think i wouldnt go with any other board

Word, Using an OAK would be abusing other boards. I have been on an OAK since right before Christmas, riding at least twice a week and it is a beast. On mine you can litterally see the glue in between the plys, The paint used for the graphics is put on thick, and same with the Sealant. Not to mention you can call the number for OAK and actually talk to somebody. And when you do tell Mikey, Jesse says whats up.

About the Milans. The best thing to do is go to your local skate shop, ask them to look through the DVS catalague, and have them special order the Milans for you. I've been told that you should get a half size smaller than normal for a snug fit.

no matter how tough the wood board is id bet the composite catalyst would outlast it on rails.
