I never ever hear anything mentioned about hyper here?

Personally I do not own any hyper products but Byerly is a pretty sick skater, what gives?

And as far as your p.m about parks and Byerly and the question "do I respect them" Here's my answer.:

Yes I respect Park and Byerly and everyone else on the Hype/LF/everyother KSMonoply comopany as riders, cause lets all remember that when it comes down to it, were holding on to a rope standing on a piece of wood "hot doging" around the lake. Would I have be Stoked to see one of those guys go to a ROC??? For sure But I know that there doing what is right by them, and I wouldn't ask anything else. When It comes down to it I'm responsible for me and your responsible for you, I know that I dont want to support anything that hype does but I'm not going to condem someone for doing it (even though I have in the past). Support who you want to just make sure you know WHY your supporting them. In the words of RUSS RANKIN

jacque_mehoff, They own every WAKEBOARD company except for Gator. There are a few wakeskate co.'s that do it themselves. i.e satt, integ, oak, dist..., kampus,cassete, ect.....

ya man, the whole monopoly is the reason that people are lucky if they own a butter board, when butter boards went into a downfall of boardsales, the KSM shut em down, Ryan Doyle told me all about it and he was in the middle of all of it being on the team and all.

L13 is also an independant co. too.

Gator is probably the most profitable (wakeboard and wakeskate) company right now because they have the money to have their products made in the us, unlike some companies who get it made overseas. and since they can do that, they know that they have the best product made with materials they have tested and are from North America. And its easier to ship because it is less expensive to ship within the US and Canada etc rather than shipping from overseas to their distributors.

VinceWhiteman, umm.... I think you are wrong...

companies do outsource their manufacturing b/c it is much more cost efficient to do so... gator is making less profit than what they would if they made their made overseas instead of the US, at least from a productive standpoint.
Having their boards manufactured in the US ensures, quality, as well as one can usually assume that the people who made the boards aren't getting paid 17 cents an hour in a sweat shop.
If they outsourced their manufacturing, their boards would be most definitely made with cheaper materials, cheaper labor, and in factories run by people who don't give a flock about the sport.

the cost of shipping materials pales in comparison to the cheaper cost in labor that other corporations employ in manufacturing.

senorbueno, cheaper materials = less gross sales. they sell a lot of boards because the products are good quality and they sell them at a bit less cost than a hyperlite or something. that is how they make their money.

but im not on here to argue tonight, you might be right and i might be right, who knows but i dont care.
