|
|
Hey,
I'm looking at getting into wakeskating. I have the chance to grab a 2003 Kampus Swing locally in almost new condition for around $70 CND so about $60 US.
Its the 9-Ply with real grip tape on the top (not the rubber mix stuff)
http://www.wakeskating.com/board_guide/board_list.php?company=Kampus
How is this board? Is it worth it for me to start on? Or should I spend some more money and grab a newer concave board?
Any help would be great!
Thanks |

That deck seemed too loose when I rode it. The tail is so round it was hard tracking. Lots of concave and good pop though, good luck. I'd get a more modern deck, concave. _________________ dbanana wrote:

Raven, really I liked it, it was loose in the center, but the hooked edges really made it hook up in a cut, the only realy down side to it is if your used to a regular board you have to force your self to lean back a little more on lips _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

| I've been riding that board for awhile. It's cheap. Takes tons of abuse. It's not a bad board to pick up since it's so cheap. Not a bad idea to start with that and if you enjoy wakeskating pick up a different board later, and use the swing board for rails and such. |
