I have tried alot of stupi dways to get the handle back including a launcher, oursa was pneumatic, and at the end of the day the easiest way is throw it over your shoulder and start walking/swimming back

Brett, those pics are exactly what I pictured in my head.
Why not just do like the swiss guys and have a car/truck pull you from the road as you ride down the canal

its called a dog. tie handle to dog's harness and just have him walk/ swim with you.. also for those in dirty swamp water he can fight a gator for you.

| i have shot fish with a bow it'd be best to carry the bow arrow with safe tip and rope and handle and shoot the rope back toward the winch of course keepin the handle with you with pracrice tottaly possible |
