ok i dont like this but im gonna take up for daniel. i have ridden with him alot and he is a good rider and not a 2 trick rider. he was and still is the most consistant at kick flips and he did alot of things first. he is doing alot now like switch360 shuvits. he did the HS w2w ts indy shuvit a long time ago he did a real big spin........ he isnt just a 2 trick rider snow. what isnt he one of two doing varial flips and one of 3 doing w2w kfs

im with greg on that one... im a pro wakeskater when im around girls that dont know what it is at parties. whats a hs w2w ts indy shuvit? maybe im reading it wrong and it hasnt clicked in my head yet.

No, I didn't mean he could only do two tricks. Someone said that he deserved to be a pro because he was the first to do a wake to wake kickflip and a varial flip so I said that just because he (or anyone) did those two tricks doesn't mean they should turn pro. Yes, daniel is a good wakeskater and didn't he land the first kickflip on the pro tour or something (at the contest). I never said he wasn't good and clearly this has come out all wrong. Anyway, the point to all of this is that there has to be a reason that he isn't pro because if those two tricks determined it, he would have been getting paid a long time ago. Now you all can argue over that. Bye.

Wakeskate77, more than two people are doing varial flips. I know greg van wagnen just learned them and brian did an inside out toeside varial flip, danny is doing them, along with daniel (I don't know if there are others. i would never have heard about greg had it not been for this website. Also, tim kovacich had an attempt in LP but I don't know if he ever made one). But both flips you mentioned are pretty rare.

EDIT : I'm adding some stuff because I'd rather not create a new thread. Perhaps I'm not giving him quite as much credit as I should be because he is a tallented rider and as I've said in almost every daniel related post, I completely respect his attitude and he truly loves to wakeskate. But either something's not quite there yet, or everyone is just writing him off. Why did cassette sign danny hampson and aaron reed, but not Daniel? Why is hyperlite pumping up brandon thomas but not daniel? Anyway, he doesn't need me adding my 2 cents on a message board because he already has this s hit coming at him in the industry. But I don't regret saying what I did and I wouldn't take any of it back. I mean, you only live twice....

And that wasn't supposed to be a tush kissing sesh, but I felt it was necessary to add that because I do respect him. Never say never again....

yea mabey he has a deal in the works who know it could be some crazy new crazy thing thats comming out. mabey he has a deal that i know about mabey not, probley not if i did and i said i would die. daniel hates me he dosent tell me things anymore.

well i live in tn i just youst to go and ride with him and derek seaman and he rode with us i just pissed him off we weret really close friends and he has gotten to where he rides with grubby alot now and not so much with derek. i guess we rode together in october.

i havent been reading any of the other stuff just the beginning but how is greg a pro. i'm not trying to talk shizzle but i was just wondering? greg do you have sponser's or what and do you consider yourself pro because you ride on the tour?

i dont consider myself a pro, i just tell girls i am at partys. but who doesnt? and ya i have sponsors and iv rode a few tour stops.
