has anyone tried both of the shoes? the mesh versions of course...as far as weight differences go? cause the kenyans mesh to leather ratio is a little off, haha , does this affect the overall weight when the shoe is in the water? thanks for the input...

dresdens work well. and ive heard good things about the kenyans and i plan to get some this season. but i like to wear my wakeskate shoes just as normal shoes. but if you dont care about that, then id just go for 100% wakeskate specific shoes like some byerly's. they will drain the best. eventhough the dresdens are mesh, they still hold water. they dont smell but they can get heavy at times. as for the kenyans, the leather doesnt hold water so they're okay there, but it just depends on what your looking for. the dresdens are great if you dont wakeskate everday, but if you're constantly on the water, id go for some byerlys.

yeah i wanna wear my shoes to as normal shoes.... so my feet smell like ass and nobody will want to hang out. Dresdens are sweet but they actually need more leather on them. The mesh get eaten up so bad on grip tape. But then again I ride a foamtop modified obrien kneeboard.

buy the one that fits you the best, not what you think might dry 20 minutes quicker. the mesh dresdens and byerlys will both dry quicker than regular shoes.

ive used the dresdens, and as much as i love small minimalistic shoes, i'll definitely be getting the kenyans probably in leather. screw mesh.
